We had the chance to portrait Merle Bergers for the brand @einstoffen switzerland.
Merle Bergers, a child of the forest, grew up with the whispering of leaves and the buzzing of insects.
From an early age, she felt this deep connectivity that surrounds all life. Studying at Design Academy Eindhoven, her fascination with the silent communication of the plant world only grew.
Inspired by visionaries like Peter Wohlleben and Robin Wall Kimmerer, she then embarked on a journey into the hidden scent messages of flora with her project @linguaplanta .
Lingua Planta deciphers these secret languages of nature, and translates them into an olfactory symphony for modern explorers.
But Lingua Planta is more than just perfume. It is a molecular dialogue- captured in precious bottles but maintaining the echo of the forest.
The finest essences are selected with meticulous care, handpicked from the apothecaries of nature.
Lingua Planta’s elixirs are then created via traditional handiwork in the Netherlands, a nation that places equal value on craftsmanship and the love of nature. The values of sustainability permeate every product, as Lingua Planta believes firmly in the stewardship of the earth from which these precious scents derive.
